Born in May 1941 in the City of Buenos Aires, he obtained his Law Degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1965.

He was National Judge having jurisdiction over Commercial Matters as well as Judge in the Federal Court of Appeals in Civil and Commercial matters. In 1987, he decided to retire as Judge and co-founded Estudio Bosch together with Francisco Miguel Bosch.

While maintaining his private law practice at Estudio Bosch, he was head of the legal department and consultant attorney of the Banco de la Nación Argentina and legal advisor of the Argentine Corporate Records Office (IGJ, for its Spanish acronym), the Central Bank of Argentina and of the Board of Directors of the Banco de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (a position that he currently upholds). 

Carlos Luis Bosch also has vast experience in the area of commercial arbitration, having been appointed as Arbitrator in several occasions. Additionally, he has been appointed as member of the Professional Ethics Committee of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association.

He was professor of History of Argentine Institutions at Universidad Católica Argentina, assistant professor in Commercial Law at Universidad de Buenos Aires; assistant professor at the Department of Bankruptcy Law in a postgraduate course at the School of Economics of the Universidad de Buenos Aires, professor in postgraduate courses of Law of Procedure and Bankruptcy Law at Escuela de Abogacía de Buenos Aires and Ars Iuris (Cultural Center University) and professor of Bankruptcy Law in a postgraduate course in the Corporación de Abogados Católicos (Association of Catholic Attorneys).
