In this area, the Firm has experience in providing advice to public companies and agencies in matters related to public utilities and contractual issues referring to electricity, natural gas, water and sewage, railway transport and other infrastructure projects. Our experience includes advising in the execution of turnkey contracts (EPC) of power generation plants, electrical transformer stations and transmission lines, the execution of long term electrical maintenance services contracts, pipeline construction contracts, construction and maintenance contracts related to railway equipments, energy supply contracts within the Wholesale Electricity Market (Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista), natural gas sales agreements, natural gas transmission agreements as well as natural gas and electricity import/ export contracts.   

In other level, we have accumulated a wealth of experience in the field of water and sewage. The Firm's law practice in these areas comprise a wide range of legal services ranging from water and sewer service and utility matters to matters related to the management of hydrological resources. In this vane, we have provided legal advice in projects related to construction works to prevent flood water damages, direct and indirect expropriations for this purpose and in filings to obtain water resources use permits. In addition, we have provided legal advice to governmental agencies on regulatory matters covering such areas, as on obligatory delimitations of zones of protection around the bodies of water and in relation to natural and artificial water courses.
